Our First Steps

Hi! My name is Jiwan Kim and I am a member of the My Two Cents foundation. Since we have recently been organized, we have countless ideas and initiatives that we would love to jump into. So far, we have organized a chocolate fundraiser to raise money for female sanitary products. All five members of this foundation took the initiative to reach out to communities around them or groups at school to increase awareness of our fundraiser. With the money we raised, we were able to purchase a mass order of pads. We agreed to a date and met to package these pads into boxes which we could send out or deliver to numerous in-need communities. Even though our foundation has only begun, we see a bright future of helping young women who are in need of female sanitary products.
